Lindsey grew up in San Diego and went to College at Palomar Community College and Cal State San Bernardino where she majored in graphic design.
Lindsey graduated from Poway High School in 2004 where she was a three-year letter winner, a two-year starter and two-year captain under current Epic volleyball coach Lisa Reis. She helped her team win two Palomar league titles and 2 CIF division 1 championships in 2002 and 2003. Her junior year, Lindsey was 1st team all Palomar league and 1st team all CIF. Her senior year she was Palomar league and CIF division 1 player of the year, as well as she had 1st team honors for both Palomar and CIF, and 1st team all state.
In club, Lindsey started volleyball under coach Steve Lamb where they placed 2nd at the volleyball festival at UC Davis when she was 14. When she was 16, won a national title and every year after placed in the top 8 at nationals until 2004.
In both seasons as captain at Palomar, Lindsey was Conference MVP, 1st team pacific coast conference and 1st team all state. At Cal State San Bernardino Lindsey was named the 1st ever newcomer of the year and 2nd team all conference. Her senior year she was on the athletic honor roll and 2nd team all conference.
Lindsey married her husband Erik in March 2014 and plans to have kids soon. This is her first year coaching at Epic.
