Head Coach, Girls 14-Lisa
Lisa's coaching experience spans 27 years at Poway High School where she reached and exceeded the milestone of 500 wins. Her varsity win-loss record at Poway is an amazing 564 wins, 150 losses, for an 80% win ratio. Her Poway teams won 11 CIF Championships and finished second in CIF 6 other times. Her teams also earned 13 top-ten finishes in the State playoffs. Lisa coached over 75 girls who have received Division I or Division II college scholarships. In high school, Lisa has also coached boy's club volleyball at Poway High until it became a CIF sport in 1989 and has been an assistant coach in Track and Field for 8 total years. In 1983-1984 Lisa coached 2 seasons at two brand new clubs in San Diego.
Lisa has been coaching at Epic since our inception in 2005 and this past season, she coached the 13-2 team.
Lisa lives in Ramona with her husband, who have been married since 1985. They are the proud parents of a son named Ryan and a daughter named Kara. Lisa has always had a passion for coaching and for teaching as well. Lisa taught adv. Courses in aerobics, soccer, and weight training at Poway High School. In 33 years' time, Lisa instructed over 16,000 students whether through coaching or teaching. The latest count is that this will be Lisa's 68th team that she has coached for. All of these things, coupled with the birth of her children are some of the greatest accomplishments of her life.
