Head Coach, Girls 15-Breezy

Breezy Ambort is a 2001 graduate of University City High School, where she was a highly successful athlete. She played varsity basketball and softball all four years and varsity volleyball for three years. Her teams went to seven CIF Championships and won three (two in basketball and one in volleyball).
As an athlete growing up, Breezy played travel softball for four years and then club basketball the following three. Her club volleyball experience included a senior year with Sunwest Volleyball Club's 18-1, coached by Ozhan Bahrambeygui.
Breezy earned a full scholarship to play volleyball at Clemson, where she was a setter, in which she started as a Freshman. She graduated from Clemson in just three years with a Political Science major and Legal Studies minor and then came back home to receive her Master's Degree in Political Science from San Diego State University. She also has a Teaching Credential in Social Science from SDSU.
After returning to San Diego, Breezy was the Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach at Grossmont College for two years and began coaching at Epic in the summer of 2004 and has coached in the girls' 15s, 16s and 17s age groups since then. But for the last 6 club seasons, she has been Epic's 15-1s coach. Breezy also coached 6 years with the girls' varsity basketball team at Scripps Ranch High School and 2 years assisting the girls' varsity volleyball team at Scripps.
Currently, Breezy teaches AP Government and AP Psychology at Poway High School and is in her 6th year as Poway's girls' head varsity volleyball coach.
