Armando Fry
Coach, Girls 12-Armando

This will be Armando's 13th year coaching. He attended and played volleyball at Granite Hills High School in El Cajon where he was a 3 year varsity letter winner, a 2 time All-League selection, an All-CIF selection, as well as the Grossmont League "Player of the Year" in 96'. He also played football and basketball at Granite Hills. After high school he played Football at Grossmont College before finishing his collegiate career at UCLA.

Armando has been coaching club volleyball since 2002. He has coached age levels from 12-18 and served as the Director of Velocity Volleyball Club from 2008 to 2011. He coached the Grossmont High School Girls volleyball team for 9 seasons from 2003 to 2011, 8 as head coach. During that time Grossmont High School won 5 league championships, boasted 22 all-league selections, 11 All-CIF selections, and 3 Grossmont League "Player of the Year" selections. Armando was also selected to coach the Grossmont League All Star Team in 2004, 2005, 2008 and 2010. After Grossmont High School, Armando spent one season as an assistant at Cuyamaca College in 2012.

Armando is optimistic and committed, making it his personal goal to help every one of his players reach their potential.
